Dear Clients & Friends,

October is, of course, Breast Cancer Awareness month which always gives reason to pause.  Let's reclaim this beautiful autumn month and rename it Breast Health Awareness month instead and celebrate all the natural options dancing on the edge of the spotlight.

The real first step to avoiding & halting breast cancer is as easy as educating and empowering women to make their own decisions based on sound holistic information.  I truly believe we are at the thermography tipping point as more & more women turn towrds safe options for their breast health!   Read my full article by clicking here.

I'd have to say that 99% of the women who come to me are choosing thermography as their prime screening method for breast disease, as they become aware of recent studies which shed an unattractive light on mammograms and radiation from medical imaging. Read the Cornell University Report.

I have found that true peace of mind comes at the moment we understand that we have the power to heal ourselves.

To Your Health,

Detoxing from Medical Imaging & Radiation
Natures' Healing Balms
How do you safely assist your body in detoxing from all that dangerous medical imaging, medical radiation, or atmosphere radiation?

I take a relaxing Epsom salt & baking soda bath! I add 1 cup of  baking soda plus 1 -2 cups of Epson Salt to a warm bath. Soak for 20 minutes. Please seek guidance from your health practitioner as bathing alone may not give you the full effect of ridding your body of these toxins.

As most of you know, I am also a huge fan of lymphatic therapy for our breast health and over-all well being.  Toxins left unchecked in our lymphs can lead to disease later on.  I'd be happy to give you references, for therapists trained by the Center for Lymphatic Health, in your area. Read more at the Thermography Center's links page

Nature's Healing Balm for the Skin
In my own personal search for the best skin cancer salve I have learned the hard way that black salve, although highly effective, is not the best course of action when applied to the face.  It is not for the faint of heart!

A perhaps more gentle approach and reportedly a very effective balm is an eggplant formula which can be purchased from the Tahoma Clinic, WA. (425) 264-0051. They are very helpful and will answer your questions as well.

As for the black salve or eggplant remedy applied to the face or elsewhere on the skin, have these natural treatments handy  to assist with the healing and to prevent scarring ~

The Beauty of Aloe I am reminded once again of the amazing healing properties of the aloe plant. Its effect is always rapid, soothing & effective.  From a natural plant I cut a small leaf and carefully scoop or cut out the fresh aloe gel.  I apply this directly to the wound and cover.

Neem Oil is a beautiful oil that gently assists with cell regeneration, pain reduction and is an anti-inflammatory.  Ayurvedic practitioners and herbalists have successfully used Neem to reduce tumors.  It is an immune booster & anti-bacterial. It also seems to be effective for fine lines, wrinkles and rosacea!

Aloe & Neem Oil combined are the perfect healing balm!

Skin Supplements
As I was reminded by Dr. Scott Saunders of Santa Barbara MD, be sure to take plenty of Zinc, vitamin C, vitamin A and MSM to assist with the healing process and to help prevent scarring.

I would be happy to recommend some of my favorite practitioners from SLO to Los Angeles to assist you with holistic healing and prevention.

Full Body Thermography  Helpful & Revealing!
Full Body Thermal Image
Full body imaging can provide a "body road map" which effectively points to indications of disease or areas in the body that need special attention before serious disease develops.  This is a great preventative and restorative tool.

I am always surprised at the vast amount of information a full body
scan can provide for my clients.

Heart Alert
For instance, a recent full body thermography revealed concerns around the carotid artery pointing to indications of Occlusive Disease which relates to the arteries & the heart.
Although this person had received recent physicals, EKG's and other medical testing, it was only the thermography which brought this serious  concern to their doctor's attention.

At the Thermography Centers we offer breast as well as full body thermal imaging for women and men

We provide Holistic Care & guidance

You will receive gentle and compassionate care. Should the Thermologist's report see "areas of concern" we will guide you towards the right health practitioner for your needs.

Jackie's Cocoa Ball Recipe
Raw cocoa balls & variations thereof are a great superfood snack when the sweet cravings kick-in.  Try experimenting and let the alchemist inside lead the way.

Start with these great organic ingredients and then play:
Raw cacao powder
Tahini butter
Almond butter
Extra Virgin Coconut oil
Hemp Powder (high in protein and anti-oxidants)
Sesame & Flax seeds
Unsweetened coconut flakes
Coconut milk (optional)
Xylitol (plant based sweetener w/ low glucose & calories. Tastes like sugar- I like it much better than Stevia)

Here's how I make each batch different:
I start with my nut butter - about 4 heaping tablespoons,
add 2 tablespoons of raw cacao. I add about 1/2 the amount or more of coconut butter.  Stir well with a fork in a mixing bowl.  Add 1-2 scoops hemp powder.  Blend in ground up flax or sesame seeds.  Pour a nice amount of  coconut flakes in.
Try adding a small amount of unsweetened coconut milk to create smooth dough like texture. Add in Xylitol to taste.

Roll into balls and sprinkle with sesame seeds and/or coconut flakes.  Drop small rounded spoonfuls onto a coconut oil greased cookie sheet. Freeze for 1-2 hours.

Serve right away as they do tend to melt :)

Helpful tips:
Add more coconut oil (room temperature) or coconut milk to create a smoother consistency.

Grind seeds fresh in coffee grinder.

Try an all nut butter version without the cacoa (or caffeine) for late night snacks.
I look forward to seeing you all in the coming months.  Please remember to create a stable baseline with your 90 day follow up after your first thermography.  We have been able to identify and halt serious indications of disease developing in this time period.

Pick up a copy of Suzanne Somers' book, Knockout and share it with friends and family. It is filled with inspiring information on Breast Cancer prevention as well as natural remedies.

I wish you all a beautiful fall.
Be Well,
Jackie Kane
